How to Pack for a Himalayan Trek: The Complete Checklist

A well-packed bag can make or break your trekking experience. The golden rule: pack light, but don't skip on safety essentials.
Clothing: 2-3 moisture-wicking t-shirts, a fleece jacket, a down jacket, waterproof/windproof shell, thermal inners, and trekking pants.
Footwear: broken-in trekking shoes, camp shoes/sandals, and 3-4 pairs of trekking socks.
Essentials: headlamp with extra batteries, reusable water bottles, sunscreen, lip balm, and a basic personal first-aid kit.
Documents: government ID, printed permits if required, and copies of any medical prescriptions.
