Sandhan Valley Trek

4.5 (98 reviews)

Overview

Sandhan Valley, nicknamed the 'Valley of Shadows', is a deep, narrow canyon carved between the forts of Ratangad and Alang-Madan-Kulang in the Sahyadri range. Sunlight barely reaches the canyon floor, creating a dramatic play of shadows between towering rock walls that rise over 200 feet on either side. The trek includes rock scrambling, rappelling down waterfalls, and wading through pools of water, making it one of the most adventurous day treks near Mumbai and Pune.
